One who wishes to further his or her education has plenty of choices when it comes to a well-rounded secondary education in the Fort Lauderdale area. There is an assortment of quality institutions to consider.

Broward College (formerly Broward Community College) offers Bachelor in Science and Associate of Arts in various disciplines including Accounting Technology, Computer Science, Health Information Management, Massage, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy.

Nova Southeastern University in nearby Davie is comprised of a beautiful 300-acre campus and has a student body mix of 26,000 undergraduates and graduates.

The larger institutions outside of Broward County are The University of Miami in Coral Gables and Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.  Both have a boatload of degree programs to go along with their thriving campus and Division I NCAA Athletics.
